GUIDELINES FOR DnD SESSIONS

  1. Anyone can request a session.
  2. Anyone signing up for a session will be expected to be there for the entire duration.
    • Emergencies will immediately stop a session with no questions asked.
    • If planning a mid-afternoon session, it can be stopped at the DM's discretion (The work comes first).
  3. Any requests must be made at least 4 hours prior to requested start time. (People need time to prepare or wrap shit up).
  4. No outside drama. This is a place to escape reality, not dwell on it.
  5. All character deaths that go unresolved will be considered no longer part of the campaign.
    • New characters created as a result of a previous character's death will come in as a level 1 unless specifically stated otherwise by the DM prior to character creation.
    • If a homebrew character is being played it must first be discussed with the DM at least 3 days prior to introduction so that it can be balanced and approved.
  6. Leveling will be handled as milestone. Meaning when certain events occur, or a point in which the DM feels your character would have made a significant advancement.
  7. Feats although can be selected by leveling up, must be approved prior to selection. The DM has the sole right to remove a feat at any time should he determine that doing so is in the best interest of character balance.
    • This rule also applies to homebrew items, spells, cantrips, etc.
  8. Rolls will be called at the DM's discretion. Meaning describe your action, how you see that action going, and what it will look like. A roll, if any, will then be called as well as whether you have advantage or disadvantage.
    • Arguing over whether that roll should have been called, or what type of roll should be called, will automatically be considered a critical fail.
    • Critical fails will result in some hilarious, embarrassing, or even lethal outcomes depending on the action that has failed.
    • Critical successes will do the opposite, often resulting in an epic outcome.

These rules are subject to change at any time for any reason by the DM.
